Brushing and proper feeding: two important allies

Good eating habits in general are benefits for the whole organism and also for good oral health. Having a balanced and healthy diet, including natural foods such as abundant fruits and vegetables, as well as the consumption of enough water daily, is something we can do to improve the health not only of our mouth but of the whole body.
In today’s world most people often have to eat away from home or be absent for many hours on a daily basis so that teeth cannot be properly brushed. In these cases an alternative to which we can use the sugar-free gums, particularly those that have among its components xylitol as sweetening agent, which possesses bactericidal properties. Chewing this type of chewing gum increases the secretion of saliva, which is the best anti caries agent that exists.
